Guatemala is one of the most beautiful countries in Central America as it is surrounded by volcanoes, mountains, and beaches.  There are more than 13 million people living in Guatemala with approximately half of the people being Amerindian or Mayan.  Most of the people continue to live in small villages working on coffee or agriculture farms.  The igneous people are known for wearing bright, colorful traditional clothes, and making homemade, colorful textiles.

Guatemala Relief And Compassion Effort’s mission house is located 35 miles west of Guatemala City on the edge of El Tejar and Chimaltenango.  The mission house allow short-term mission teams to work in surrounding towns through various ways such as constructing houses, medical clinics, food and clothing distributions, Vacation Bible Schools, or Pastors’ Conferences.

In addition to providing lodging for short-term mission teams, Guatemala Relief And Compassion Effort has established long-term ministries by establishing two local churches and operating a feeding and educational program for 160 impoverished children.  G.R.A.C.E Ministries continues to invest in local pastors and churches in order to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
