Last year, every child in our school received a brand-new pair of shoes for Christmas. I will never forget the smiles on their faces as they opened their boxes. Their excitement over the shoes was just as big as their excitement over their new toys!
Have you ever counted how many pairs of shoes you have in your closet? If youâre like me, you may buy shoes to match an outfit or simply because they were on sale. But for our students, shoes are essential. They wear them to walk to school, to work, to church, and to the market. Their shoes are worn out long before they ever outgrow them.
This Christmas, we would love to bless each child with a new pair of shoes once again.
